Ascending on Broken Rock on the Slopes of Hesperus Peak, La Platas
Kirk turns for the camera while crossing a field of loose, sharp rocks. Lichens color the wall above him. It took awhile to get through this sandstone rubble; it's hell on your ankles and it really tore up our boots.
We don't usually travel off trail by choice. Often, we just can't seem to find where it is.
